The Martial Arts is about self-defense, self-discipline, and building confidence and respect. We believe that these values are also reflected in a student’s studies and want to recognize that achievement. Qualifications for Academic Achievement are as follows: Students on an A-F grading scale; A’s or B’s or a combination. Students graded on an E-N scale; E’s or S’s or a combination will qualify.
The student’s may present their report card to us and we will present them with a patch which may be sewn on the left sleeve of their uniform. These patches will be awarded at the end of each semester (January & June). Students are encouraged to bring in their 6 week or 9 week report cards. We will check them and reward the student for good progress.
Educational achievement is very important and worthy of special recognition in our system.
