KIA’S : on 1st, 9th, 19th and 30th movements
MEANING: Chung-Mu was the given name of the great admiral Yi Sun-Sin of the Yi Dynasty who was reported to have invented the first armored battleship, the forerunner of our present day submarine in 1592 A.D.

Ready position at 12:00.

  1. Open hand box block to 9:00 with feet in a fighting stance position. “kia”
  2. Step with the right leg into a right-leg forebalance while chopping with the right hand (palm up) and covering the forehead with the left hand (palm out).
  3. Fold for a sudo block and turn the right leg around until you are facing 3:00 and sudo block in a right side fighting stance.
  4. Step forward into a left-leg fighting stance and open hand strike to the throat with the left hand (palm down) while the right hand (palm down) braces the left elbow.
  5. Sudo block to 12:00 in a left side fighting stance.
  6. Turn to the back, slide the right leg to the left, and side kick with the right leg to 6:00.
  7. Land in a left hand sudo block to the front.
  8. Jump side kick with the right leg to 12:00.
  9. Land in a right hand sudo block. “kia”
  10. Turn counter-clockwise with the left leg into a left leg forebalance at 3:00, and low block with the left hand.
  11. Reach up, grab the back of your opponent’s head, and smash the head into your right knee.
  12. Slide the left leg into a left side forebalance at 9:00 and to-san block with the left hand.
  13. Ridge hand with the right hand.
  14. Come-around round kick with the right leg, and land in a right side fighting stance.
  15. Turn sidekick with the left leg, and land in a right hand sudo block to 3:00.
  16. Come-around round kick with the left leg, and land with the left leg behind the right facing 6:00 in a deep fighting stance. Catch bow with left hand on top and right hand on bottom.
  17. Jump and turn counter-clockwise 360 degrees and land in a right hand sudo block.
  18. Step forward with the left leg and groin grab with the right hand; then slide back the right leg into a deep fighting stance and hold the right hand back.
  19. Step with the right leg into a right leg forebalance and spear hand with the right hand. “kia”
  20. Slide the left leg around counter-clockwise to face 9:00 in a left leg forebalance and song- sue block with the left hand.
  21. Step forward with the right leg into a horsestance at 6:00 and back fist to 9:00 with the right hand.
  22. Look to the left and go to a left side fighting stance towards 3:00.
  23. Come-around sidekick with the right leg.
  24. Land in a left side fighting stance.
  25. Come-around sidekick with the left leg.
  26. Land in a right leg forbalance towards 9:00.
  27. Cross-block high.
  28. Step forward with the left leg and double palm strike to the ribs.
  29. Slide the right leg and turn into a left leg forebalance; high block with the right hand.
  30. Punch to the heart with the left hand (no step). “kia”
