MEANING: Named after the patriot An Ghung Gun.

Ready Position 12:00

Chung-Gun position (Left hand covering right hand at belt level)

  1. Left side fighting stance to 9:00 with an under hand chop to midsection with left hand. “kia”
  2. Left leg front kick.
  3. Step forward in a right side fighting stance and palm strike with right hand.
  4. Move right foot to 3:00 in right side fighting stance with an under hand chop to midsection with right hand.
  5. Right leg front kick.
  6. Step forward in left side fighting stance and palm strike with left hand.
  7. Move left foot to 12:00 in left side fighting stance and sudo block.
  8. Shift to left side forebalance while grabbing head with left hand and right hand rising elbow.
  9. Walk forward in right side fighting stance and sudo block.
  10. Shift to right side forebalance while grabbing head with right hand and left hand rising elbow.
  11. Walk forward in left forebalance and double punch high.
  12. Walk forward in right forebalance and double upper cut punch to midsection. “kia”
  13. Move left foot counter clockwise to 3:30 in left forebalance and cross block.
  14. Move left foot to 3:00 in a left side fighting stance and backfist with left hand.
  15. Wrap up arm with left hand and punch with right.
  16. Slide left foot to right and step with right foot to 9:00 in right side fighting stance and backfist with right hand.
  17. Wrap up arm with right hand and punch with left.
  18. Move left foot to 6:00 in left forebalance and song-sue block with left hand.
  19. Switch to a left side fighting stance with left hand in chamber and punch with left hand.
  20. Comearound sidekick with right leg.
  21. Set right foot down in right side forebalance and song-sue block with right hand.
  22. Switch to a right side fighting stance with right hand in chamber and punch with right hand.
  23. Comearound sidekick with left leg.
  24. Set left foot down in left side fighting stance closed hand sudo block.
  25. Shift to left side forebalance and begin double palm strike press (left hand up, right hand down) and then switch, (right hand up, left hand down).
  26. Step forward in right side fighting stance closed hand sudo block.
  27. Shift to right side forebalance and begin double palm strike press (right hand up, left hand down) and then switch, (left hand up, right hand down).
  28. Slide right foot to left and fold for bow strike (right hand over left hand)
  29. Bow strike to 3:00 with left hand up and right hand down.
  30. Slide left foot to right and fold for bow strike. (left hand over right hand)
  31. Bow strike to 9:00 with right hand up and left hand down. “kia”
  32. Slide right foot to left and face 12:00 in Chung-Gun position.
